Solvent Blue recently received a significant National Fish and Wildlife Foundation grant to support pilot testing for The Guardian Project. Following piloting, the Project will draw from multiple revenue streams, including a portion of Solvent Blue's own earned income, to prepare for a broader rollout. Interested rural partners, such as range- and grass-landowners, can contact Solvent Blue's newly-formed consulting team today. Complete the online form to learn more about becoming a guardian.

Local Solutions
Working alongside private landowners, The Guardian Project strives to:
We help landowners identify and develop plans to remove non-native plant species. First, thought, we evaluate their impact.
We help landowners identify and develop plans to re-introduce plant species that are consider native to the land.
We can site and work to develop plans to add trees and makes forests which help increase carbon capture. In this way, we help build carbon sinks on private property.
We strategize and make plans and solutions for how to recycle waste and by-products from landowner property. This includes grazing waste.
We can help with planning upgrades to normal business operations on the property that are more energy efficient. This includes solar and wind.
We can work with landowners to identify and protect areas or corridors through which wildlife pass on the property and dedicated habit to supporting wildlife.
We offer the ability to test top soils and construct conservation plans that preserve topsoil and help prevent contamination.
We can evaluate streams on the property to develop a plan to reduce effluent waste from cattle, if applicable, which can contaminate watersheds relied on by wildlife.
We can create and update plans to manage risk such as those that anticipate extreme weather and natural disasters related to climatological shifts.
We can facilitate training in conservation advocacy which can helps landowners promote conservation to others, including their close peers.
